World Vision International is an evangelical Christian humanitarian organization founded in 1950 by [[Robert Pierce]] that operates in over 100 countries. Multiple researchers and journalists have alleged that World Vision served as a front organization for [[CIA]] operations during the [[Cold War]], particularly in [[Southeast Asia]] and [[Central America]]. The organization has received significant funding from [[USAID]], the United States Agency for International Development, which has documented historical ties to intelligence agencies.[^1][^2]
