Brigadier General [[Uri Simchoni]] was a member of the [[Iran-Israel Joint Committee]]. He served at various times as assistant deputy chief of staff for operations for the [[Israel Defense Forces]] and as a military attaché in [[Washington D.C.]]. He had also been the chief of the elite [[Golani infantry brigade|Golani infantry brigade]].[^1]
[[Uri Simchoni|Simchoni]] was part of the [[Israel|Israeli]] delegation at the October 1980 [[Paris meeting]], which included [[George Bush]], [[William Casey]], and [[Mehdi Karrubi]].[^1]
