The [[Iran Group]] was a [[Central Intelligence Agency|CIA]] group headed by [[Robert Gates]]. It was created as a result of the October 1980 [[Paris meeting]], and its members, including [[George Cave]], were involved with [[Israel|Israelis]] in arms sales to [[Iran]].[^1]
