The [[Baader-Meinhof Group]], also known as the Red Army Faction (RAF), was a West German far-left militant organization. They were involved in the 1976 [[Entebbe hijacking]], where they boarded an [[Air France]] jet flying from [[Tel Aviv]] to [[Paris]] and diverted it to [[Entebbe Airport]] in [[Uganda]].[^1]
