[[Black September]] was a Palestinian militant organization. They were involved in a battle with [[Mossad]] agents in [[Europe]] in the aftermath of the 1972 [[Munich Olympic Massacre|Olympic Games massacre]] of [[Israel|Israeli]] athletes. They were known for killing each other at every opportunity.[^1]
Suspicion fell on [[Black September]] for the killing of two [[Israeli Military Intelligence]] members working in the [[Rome]] listening station in April 1977.[^1]
