Solel Bone Ltd., of Haifa, was the largest Israeli engineering company involved in the construction of [[Dimona]]. It was closely associated with the [[Mapai Party]], and Israelis involved in the early stages of construction acknowledged an extensive, and traditional, system of diverting contract funds to the party.[^1]
