[[Entebbe Airport]] is located in [[Uganda]]. It was the site of the 1976 [[Entebbe hijacking]], where an [[Air France]] jet was diverted and landed. The hijacking led to a commando raid by [[Israel|Israeli]] forces to rescue the hostages.[^1]
