[[Liege]] is a city in [[Belgium]]. It served as a hand-over point for [[USA|U.S.]] military matériel purchased from [[NATO]] stocks in [[Europe]] by [[Israel]]. [[Israel|Israeli]] chartered cargo planes would fly to [[Liege]] to pick up the matériel, and then return to [[Tel Aviv]] before transporting the weapons to [[Iran]].[^1]
