Carine Dellaert was a Belgian woman whose 1983 death was investigated as part of the [[X-Dossier]]. A Zembla programme broadcast on March 11, 2004 stated in its programme description that the Dellaert and [[Christine Van Hees]] inquiries were reopened on the basis of X1's statements and that X1 had "daderkennis" (knowledge of the perpetrators) in both cases. The description states that the Belgian gendarmerie had been able to confirm much of what she said and that the investigators of the time described growing internal obstruction from above.[^2]
