---
Peter Bradford was a wealthy individual who owned [[Adelphi Academies]], a private children’s school in Florida. [[Richard Halvorsen]] and [[Raymond Woodall]] previously worked at the academy under Bradford's ownership before moving to New Orleans in the early 1970s. The academy served as a base for operations involving juvenile recruitment through scholarship offers.[^1]
