UNO (United Nicaraguan Opposition) was a [[Central Intelligence Agency]]-inspired merger of Contra factions created to improve the [[Contras|Contras]]' public image, existing mostly as a facade while the [[FDN]] retained real authority and did the bulk of the fighting.
