He was sentenced at the [[Old Bailey]] on 18 June 2019 by Judge [[Rebecca Poulet QC]] to an 18-month Detention and Training Order after pleading guilty to two counts of encouraging terrorism under section 1 of the [[Terrorism Act 2006]].[^1] ### Offences Dunn-Koczorowski operated a personal Gab account under a pseudonym and shared administrative control of SKD's [[Gab]] page alongside co-defendant [[Michael Szewczuk]]. The Gab posts for which he was convicted included: Material expressing support for [[Anders Behring Breivik]], the Norwegian far-right extremist who killed 77 people in the 2011 [[Utoya]] attack and Oslo bombing. Content calling for the ethnic cleansing of Albanians. He pleaded guilty in December 2018 to the two encouraging terrorism counts; sentencing was deferred until June 2019. He did not face possession charges. ### Sentencing Remarks Judge Rebecca Poulet QC described the content produced by both Dunn-Koczorowski and Szewczuk as "abhorrent as well as criminal by reason of their clear intention to encourage terrorist acts."[^2] The lighter sentence compared to Szewczuk reflected both the fewer counts and the lesser volume of material attributed to Dunn-Koczorowski. ### Sonnenkrieg Division and O9A Sonnenkrieg Division was founded by [[Andrew Dymock]] following his departure from the [[System Resistance Network]] and incorporated [[Order of Nine Angles]] (O9A) philosophy heavily into its ideology, distinguishing it from its National Action-successor predecessor. Dunn-Koczorowski and Szewczuk were the first SKD members to face prosecution; their sentences preceded SKD's formal proscription, which followed in February 2020. ### Footnotes [^1]: Washington Post.
