It is a form of [[Telepathy]] and a subject of study within [[Parapsychology]].[^1] [[Edgar Mitchell]], the Apollo 14 astronaut, conducted a secret mind-to-mind telepathy experiment during his Moon voyage. He acted as the sender, while a Swedish-born psychic named [[Olaf Johnson]] served as the receiver on Earth.[^1] [[Annie Jacobsen]] wrote that the results were statistically close to chance.[^1] Mitchell said in a 1997 NASA oral history that "the a priori results were that chance could have produced our results one out of 3,000 experiments," that a post hoc analysis gave "one out of 13,000 experiments," and that the results showed psi-missing.[^2] --- [^1]: Jacobsen, Annie. *Phenomena: The Secret History of the U.S. Government's Investigations into Extrasensory Perception and Psychokinesis*.
