Spiegel reported that investigators had so far found nothing punishable at the company and that several proceedings had been discontinued; that Uwe Tomek had owned it since the end of 1994 and said he had removed about 340 videos "mit jüngeren Models" from the market; and that the Zandvoort finds had brought the company into discussion.[^1] S. Dovey wrote that the company was linked to [[TAG Films]], the Amsterdam video production company of [[Alan Williams]], [[John Gay]] and [[Lee Tucker]], that a raid by German authorities on its premises followed the [[Operation Framework]] investigation into suspected snuff films produced by British nationals in Amsterdam, and that the raid was triggered by the discovery that TAG Films' productions were distributed through it.[^2] [[Nick Davies]] wrote in 2000 that TAG Films sold its films "through distributors in the United States and Germany" and that Bristol detectives, following Lee Tucker and John Gay, "led German police to raid a video distributor in Dusseldorf," without naming the distributor.[^3] [[Robbie Van Der Plancken]], who was jailed in Italy on suspicion of shooting his partner [[Gerrit-Jan Ulrich]], appears in at least five Gero-Video films (Spiegel: "in mindestens fünf Gero-Streifen"); Tomek said the films were bought in 1993 from a Dutch production company, before his time, and that to his knowledge Gero-Video had no personal contact with Van Der Plancken.[^1] Spiegel named the former owner as Georg G., who received a two-year suspended sentence in spring 1998 for sex with 15-year-old boys, and who still received royalties from the company.[^1] Dovey wrote that a video distributed by Gero-Video called "The Poison Dwarf" was identified during the investigation, and that a dossier provided by [[Karel Maasdam]]'s accountant to Dutch intelligence services identified the company as a distributor of child pornography as part of the [[Rolodex Investigation]].[^2] ### Footnotes [^1]: "Nur die kleinen Fische," Der Spiegel 32/1998, August 3, 1998. https://www.spiegel.de/politik/nur-die-kleinen-fische-a-fc226181-0002-0001-0000-000007956187 [^2]: Dovey, S. *Eye of the Chickenhawk.* Thehotstar, 2023.
