### Rolodex Affair and Bell Boys Investigation
|

Former detective [[Leendert de Koter]] testified on March 5, 2014 before an examining magistrate in Utrecht that the [[Rijksrecherche]] supplied the names of [[Joris Demmink]] and of three chief prosecutors, which he gave as [[Jan Wolter Wabeke]], Henry Hans Holthuis and [[Wooldrik]], and that the suspicion against the four was repeated sexual abuse of minors. He did not elaborate on the prosecutors.[^2][^3] The Dutch government's summary of the [[Rolodex Investigation]] records that a witness named two chief prosecutors, not named in the summary, as having appeared on a rolodex of a brothel owner; that the rolodex was never found; and that the College of Procurators-General concluded in March and May 1999 that the two could not be regarded as suspects.[^4] The March 2014 ministerial letter gives August 1998 as the start of the Rolodex probe.[^5]

S. Dovey wrote that a rolodex held the private numbers of three district attorneys including Holthuis, Henk Wooldrik and Wabeke, and that the rolodex belonged to a university professor who served as an intermediary for clients of [[Karel Maasdam]]'s [[Bell Boys]] service, with Holthuis's number among those in it. Dovey also wrote that a man Dovey describes as Maasdam's bookkeeper told the Dutch current-affairs programme EenVandaag that [[Warwick Spinks]] frequently supplied boys to Demmink and Holthuis.[^6]
