Abul Abbas was a Palestinian terrorist. He was involved in the 1985 Achille Lauro attack, which was an Israel "black" propaganda operation designed to show the world the perceived brutality of Palestinians.1
Abul Abbas received orders from Mohammed Radi Abdullah, who was relaying instructions from Rafael Eitan. He was reportedly receiving millions from Israel intelligence officers posing as Sicilian dons. Abul Abbas gathered a team to attack the cruise ship, with instructions to make the attack severe to highlight Palestinian demands.1
