E. Lawrence Barcella, Jr. was a former federal prosecutor who served as the chief counsel for the October Surprise Task Force. This task force was funded by the USA United States House of Representatives to investigate allegations related to the October Surprise, including those made by Gary Sick and Ari Ben-Menashe.1
