Rajesh Rao is a computational neuroscientist who collaborated with Andrea Stocco at the Institute for Learning and Brain Sciences (I-LABS) at the University of Washington in Seattle. Their work focuses on Synthetic Telepathy and direct brain-to-brain communication1.

On August 12, 2013, Rao's laboratory, in collaboration with Stocco, demonstrated synthetic telepathy between two human test subjects for the first time in human history1.
