JEGE, Inc. was a Delaware corporation through which Jeffrey Epstein owned the Boeing 727-31 registered N908JE, the aircraft the press called the Lolita Express. A 2007 federal draft indictment stated that Epstein "was the principal owner of JEGE, INC., a Delaware corporation," that its "sole business activities related to the operation and ownership of a Boeing 727-31 aircraft bearing tail number N908JE," and that he "served as president, sole director, and sole shareholder of JEGE, INC., and had the power to direct all of its operations." A separate company, JEGE, LLC, was organized in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, on October 19, 2012, with Epstein and his chief pilot Larry Visoski as members.12

The Boeing 727

On January 19, 2001 Real Estate Exchange Inc. of Portland, Oregon sold a 1969 Boeing 727, serial number 20115, registered N505LS, to JEGE Inc. at an address in New York City, 10022; the signature on the registration application was illegible, over the title "President." The registration was changed to N908JE in April 2001. On JEGE's Part 125 operating certificate "the CEO was Jeffrey EPSTEIN," at an address in West Palm Beach, Florida. The aircraft had "a business configuration with a kitchen and bedroom" and about 25 seats that "aren't economy seats," was certificated for passengers only, and "was used for private business not charter flights." On the 2013 re-registration "Darren K. INDYKE, Vice President signed as Vice President of JEGE Inc." JEGE remained the registered owner until the registration was cancelled on October 5, 2019, two months after Epstein's death. In August 2021 a special agent of the Federal Aviation Administration told prosecutors that "N908JE might be in Brunswick, Georgia."1

The 2006 Subpoena and the 2007 Draft Indictment

The chronological log of the Operation Leap Year investigation kept by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Florida records grand jury subpoenas returnable August 18, 2006 to Epstein's aviation companies Hyperion Air, Inc. and JEGE, Inc.3 The draft indictment prepared in that office in 2007 recited overt acts in which girls identified as Jane Does were flown "aboard the Boeing 727 aircraft owned by JEGE, INC." NBC News reported that a May 2007 prosecution memorandum sought approval to charge Epstein, JEGE, Inc., Hyperion Air, Inc. and three redacted co-conspirators in a sealed 60-count indictment. No indictment was filed; the Epstein non-prosecution agreement of September 2007 disposed of the federal case, and JEGE kept the 727 for another twelve years.24

The JPMorgan Accounts

JPMorgan Chase prepared a "Confidential Due Diligence Report" on JEGE, Inc. dated March 4, 2010, and another in March 2013 noting that "This is an entity 100% owned by Jeffrey Epstein"; a JPMorgan entity account application for JEGE LLC signed February 11, 2013 identified Epstein as its sole owner. The bank described the purpose of the JEGE accounts, as it did that of Air Ghislaine, Inc., as "Operational management of one of his business entities that result from his financial advisory business."5

In a December 2014 email a Southern Trust Company employee was described as "currently working on the scanning and shredding for all of the entities, FTC, LSJ, Zorro, NES, JEGE, Hyperion, and JEVIF."6

JEGE, LLC

On May 30, 2013 a 1988 Gulfstream G-IV, serial number 1085, registered N423TT, was registered to JEGE, LLC of St. Thomas, with Lawrence Visoski signing as manager. The company's 2013 statement to the FAA gave its formation date as October 19, 2012 and its members as "Jeffrey EPSTEIN and Lawrence VISOSKI." Visoski changed the registration to N212JE in July 2013 and to N120JE in August 2017; the number N212JE then passed to the Gulfstream G550 of Plan D LLC.1 The territory's 2022 complaint against Epstein's estate listed JEGE LLC among the Virgin Islands companies in what it called the Epstein Enterprise, most of which were "created in 2011 and 2012, soon after Epstein registered as a sex offender in the Virgin Islands."7

On September 8, 2014 a flight chartered by JEGE LLC carried five passengers, among them the New Mexico attorney general and Democratic gubernatorial nominee Gary King and his running mate, Deb Haaland, from Santa Fe to Washington; the campaign reported paying 22,060 dollars to the charter company Injet, and at 5:36 a.m. the next day a charter booker emailed Epstein's accountant Richard Kahn and Visoski that the plane was "on the ground at IAD." King later said his staff had told him that Bill Richardson was helping to arrange an airplane and that "we didn't have any reason to know or believe that it was a plane that was owned by Jeffrey Epstein"; a spokesperson for Haaland said the way the plane was chartered "was never communicated to her."89

The 2019 Transfer

The company's 2019 statement to the FAA gave the same formation date but named its member as Aviation Development Group LLC and its manager as Thomas Huff. In June 2019, the month before Epstein's arrest, an aircraft security agreement for 2,800,000 dollars on N120JE was filed with the FAA naming JEGE Inc. of Powder Springs, Georgia as assignor. The FAA agent described Huff as a pilot "involved in aviation at the Cobb County airport (RYY), in Kennesaw, GA for many years" and wrote: "He is of interest to DEA S/A [redacted] in Atlanta, GA. The aircraft is still registered to JEGE LLC, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. I suspect HUFF bought JEGE LLC which included the aircraft." The reference is to a special agent of the Drug Enforcement Administration.1
