Lucky Jordan was a reserve deputy who, on the same day Ron Van Meter reported corruption to the California Attorney General's Office, drove to the Fresno office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation to report similar information. According to Jordan, they had split up and reported to separate agencies in case "something" happened to one of them.1
