The Lost Mountain Tissue Bank, Inc., of [[Kennesaw, Georgia]], was one of the five tissue processors that, according to the [[Centers for Disease Control and Prevention]], received tissue directly from [[Biomedical Tissue Services]], the company of [[Michael Mastromarino]], and recalled it in September and October 2005 after the [[Food and Drug Administration]] learned that the tissue had been taken from corpses without consent. The others were [[Regeneration Technologies]], [[LifeCell]], [[Tutogen Medical]], and the Central Texas Regional Blood and Tissue Center.[^1]
