Dexter Leitenen was an assistant United States Attorney and a close friend of Allan Boyak from his Green Beret days. He later became the Miami United States Attorney. Boyak consulted with Leitenen before going to the Los Angeles Federal Bureau of Investigation office with his suspicions about Robert Booth Nichols' activities.1
