Richard Secord was a General and a co-conspirator of Oliver North in the Iran-Contra Affair. The United States Tower Commission probe into Iran-gate revealed that Monzer Al-Kassar, a Syrian kingpin and arms dealer, had been paid $1.2 million by Secord to move weapons from Israel to the Nicaraguan Contras.1
